Mission Statement
The New England Filipino American, Inc. (NEFAI) is a non-profit organization which seeks to promote camaraderie, fellowship, collective awareness to problems encountered as a group and to find solutions thereof; and to provide education and economic assistance to members, community needs, and beyond; but mostly, is to encourage participation of the young and adult in the preservation of Filipino cultural heritage through dance and music.
History
The New England Filipino-American Inc. (NEFAI) was established in 1975 and it's still going strong after 50 years. It is a non-profit organization which seeks to promote camaraderie, fellowship and uplifting of Filipinos and Filipino-Americans by providing moral support as well as financial assistance to the needy and by granting scholarship awards to eligible and qualified applicants while encouraging participation of our youth and adults in the preservation of our cultural heritage through dance and music
